Well, there it is, I am still unemployed, I should be working in the state house right now, should be a legislative aide to my state rep. not only did I pray for it , go and stand in the front of the fucking state house and pray, not only did I have Reich write him a letter. I WAS QUALIFIED. He didn't hire me, I belive, because of my vision, it's why no one EVER will. I am done, I quit I am angry, hurt and I know no one will ever hire me I want to break lots of things and don't even care if it's my own fucking hand. I actually feel dangerous right now.

I spent the day, until I got that fucking message on my answering machine, making calls on behalf of UL, oh that's the kind of work I can do, VOLUNTEER WORK, why would anyone ever give me a pay check. FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh, and I weren't so G-d Damned steamed I'd go into heaps of praise for Michael Moore. yeah for Him

that's it' I am so done with all of this, I am so tired of being hurt I'll just be a leech on society for the rest of my life since the world has decided I am not qualified

Didn't think it was possible but I had a really great time this weekend at the Brandeis Alumni Leadership weekend. They fed us great, I met some really interesting people, both young emerging leaders from the last ten years, and some people who graduated around the same time as my mom who were also very cool. Bob was there and I introduced him to my mother and everyone was really impressed that A. I and Jehuda were the only ones who can get away with calling him Bob, and B. that he actually spent about five minutes just talking with me and the table I was at, not something he did at any other table aside form the President's. Todays discussions were really interesting on how to grow the alumni network, and get more donors. I pitched the Hoffman idea to a few people and it seems like the ball has gotten rolling quite a bit. Passed out quite a few resumes, oh, and Bob called the guy who interviewed me yesterday for the state house job I want, we'll see if that helps.

Tomorrow I'll be going to the gym and probably on that date, though our conversations have been a bit too filled with lulls maybe it will be different in person, I hope so otherwise it'll be a waste of money which I already don't have.

This week could be VERY interesting.

And, there it is, WAR WHAT IS IT GOOD FOR, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING you tell em' Edwin Starr.

I am not going to comment on this war, my feelings are clear, .

NCAA brackets already shot to hell.

But there is some very good news. I have had some excellent opportunities to sit down with potential employers. I don't want to get too specific as of yet due to the jobs being up in the air, and as well I don't want to jinx it plus don't want anyone thinking about hiring me to read that I've been talking about a job with them. Let me just say if the one I am praying for pans out, I'll be very happy and in excellent shape career and finance wise.

I'll be going to Brandeis this weekend for the Alumni Leadership thing, should be interesting, I hope to talk to a few people about honoring Hoffman, Zirkin may come up as well which would be cool. Not sure how I feel about Sunday's date but what the hell, a beautiful woman is a beautiful woman.

Ok, that's that, Zimmy, over and out for now.

well well well, I guess all those fortune cookies as of late have been fairly well on. I have dates aplenty, my schedule is flush with interviews, and my weekend at Brandeis should be very interesting.. It's a leadership seminar thing and I'll be bringing my resumes with me. Congressman Allen has agreed to help me find work if he can, and I have two interview on Thursday, oh a date with Nancy, a friend I've met though another friend. The gym didn't happen today but I have been using my dumbbells in my room though I do still need to get my laundry done, I can't even see my floor, and not just because of my lack of eyesight.

Wait, I am stunned, Saddam says he's not leaving, that's EXACTLY what Bush wanted. Think about it, if Saddam had left with his sons, the international community would have hailed him as a hero for saving the lives of his people by preventing war, Bush would have looked awful, before he issued that ultimatum last night he KNEW Hussein wasn't going to leave. This war might be short, but then again we though that about Vietnam as well. I just pray that if he does have the kind of weapons Bush says Saddam does that we can prevent him from using them somehow, if I am Saddam and I know I have nothing left to loose, I probably wouldn't hesitate to use everything I had, on Israel, on American troops, and maybe even on America if I have terrorists here. This war won't be so easy folks, we have to do more than just push the Iraqis out of Kuwait, we have to actually go into Baghdad and get Hussein,

Sorry, I know it's been a few days. I have worked out three more times since we last spoke, and spent the weekend at Mt. Holyoke, had a really good time with the Brandeis crew and met some very interesting people.

We still need another person to fill the he room now that that crazy lady is gone.

Well it seems official, we are going to war, You all know my feelings on it, all I can say at this point is that I will continue to protest it and I pray for the people of Iraq, America and Israel

with respect to the American treatment of the French people, I am ashamed and sickened by it. Our nation did indeed bail out France a few times, but we CAN be wrong, and it offends me that not only the average toothless wonder but also the US CONGRESS is being this asinine. We are not a God like nation, we are fallible and any nation that refuses to acknowledge that is dangerous, good thing the French people have no reason to think we Americans are arrogant self important morons, oh, wait, THEY DO.

Anyone from Brandeis reading this, I want to ask you all for help, there is nothing on our campus to commemorate our most important and influential alum. Abbie Hoffman, graduated from Brandeis in 1959 and we have yet to dedicate a plaque, professors chair, building or even a scholarship in honor of him. I propose and plan to submit this proposal formally to Brandeis's development department and president Reinhartz, raising money to establish a Chair in the American Studies department and would appreciate your support, help, and any advice anyone can offer. I am very serious about this and feel it is long overdue. I have asked why it hasn't happened as of yet and have not gotten any type of answer that makes sense.

OWWWWWWWWW! I forgot how much getting exercise hurts, I see these ads talking about the "beautiful pain" unless one is a complete masochist the pain of working out is NOT beautiful, it's PAINFUL. but I know it's doing good thing for my body, and though right now it's killing my energy level in due time I am sure it will be great for me and maybe actually energize me.

Yesterday was a very good day. I went to the Brandeis alums thing and got a chance to talk to Bob which was cool. Met a few very cool folks, one who might be able to help with a job, the other who is cute as a button, gave her my number, we'll see. Then went over to the headhunters, met with the Easter Seals Public affairs person who seems to have some great ideas and who has tentatively offered me something doing tele-survey's very part time, not a lot of hours but it'll be good none the less. Last night was the UL meeting to plan our big social event on March 27th. I am in charge of handling invites to the political big wigs, cool job. I still really wish they'd hire me to do fundraising but I don't think so.

Oy I need to lay down, blechie poo.

Well, good news, apparently the painfully strong eye drops have kicked in and I am actually seeing quite well now.

Had a good weekend got lots done and enjoyed the Wellesley tourney even if some of it's participants had slightly less fun though I'll tell you this I would love to see more debating and less whining from people. Had a great time hanging with Chris as per usual,

Joined the Beacon Hill Athletic club, have my orientation on Wednesday and I'll probably take classes go regularly, start eating right, as I did last night thanks to going grocery shopping yesterday, if my fortune cookie from Saturday night is true, then things are looking up, if only the economy will get better. THANKS W.

I've had some cause of patting myself on the he back, three of the four roomies were not ok with our new roommate and her chimney impression, so I laid it down for her, since the other two weren't comfortable doing that. Stop smoking in the apartment, or leave, she's choosing the latter, no skin off my back. WHO DA' MAN?

tomorrow will be busy, Reich is speaking to Brandeis alums, Meeting with my headhunter, then organizing meeting for UL social event, fun times long day.

This is likely to be my last post for a while. I woke up yesrday morning and the cornea, which I thought had begun to reject several weeks back, has now completely refjected. my vision has very seldom if ever been this bad. . I've handled this before but I can't do it anymore, it's all just too fuckking depressing. Don't worry I'll be ok eventually but I'll tell you, I will not have anyothyer surgery I am just not strong enough, between this and no job, and now this makign the likelyhood of getting a job even smaller I really can't handle thisnevermind whatever.

He's baaack. I had a good week in Maine and DC. The presentation went very well though I didn't get to give out as many resumes as I had hoped. Enjoyed staying at the Mayflower a really famous DC hotel just blocks from the he White House. We ate insanely well and didn't pay a dime, at the conferences banquet the capitol steps played, which was very cool. I was anointed the groups tourguide in the city and they were all mystified at how aptly I got them from place to place on the he metro and they enjoyed the memorials and museums a lot. That city isn't as bad as I've dogged on it in the he past, I just think by in large politics breeds disingenuousness and DC is the height of that, so it's not that appealing, however obviously if offered a job I wouldn't turn it down.

Other than that there isn't much to report though we do have a new roommate, I was surprised, if not dismayed that Nat has already left, This new girl seems cool, a bit older than most of us, and Russian, MIT grad, wh, since i got back at around noon has cleaned every inch of this place which is good, even if rather odd.

Back to pounding the pavement
